Do you want an interesting and meaningful job while being part of our legal society? Then you should apply for the HR Specialist position with us. Here you will have the opportunity to grow and help shape the future of HR!

About the Job

HR within the Swedish courts faces significant and exciting challenges, such as driving our own AI development and creating conditions for AI, competence supply for judges, future leadership, and preparation for a more independent authority in 2027. The HR department consists of five units that are now strengthening our cross-functional work with a focus on results.

Your primary role with us is to be part of the team working with salary formation. We negotiate agreements for the Swedish courts and develop and support the courts in salary review work, provide advice on salary settings and salary surveys, and conduct training. You will also, in dialogue with court leaders, determine salaries for our regular judges and lay judges appointed by the government.

The work also involves engaging in dialogue with our trade union partners, providing consultative support in working time issues or readiness, as well as working with follow-up and statistics.

You may also be part of agile teams to develop both operational and strategic development issues.

Who Are We Looking For?

To succeed in this role, we believe you are driven, responsible, engaged, and relationship-oriented, with an interest in salary formation issues.

You enjoy working in teams and are someone who continuously scans the environment and keeps yourself updated in your area of focus.

To achieve goals, handle difficulties, or solve problems, you are willing to try new working methods. Together with us, you will build working methods that take advantage of the opportunities to use AI services. The development is fast-paced, and we want you to be part of it!

It is advantageous if you have experience in HR work related to salary formation, union cooperation, and contract negotiation, or other experience that we consider equivalent and valuable for the work. Experience from the public sector can also be valuable.

In addition, you need to have an academic degree in HR or another relevant education that we assess as equivalent and have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

To be considered for employment, you must meet high standards regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you uphold democratic values and the state values that govern the operations of the Swedish courts. We require that you comply with applicable laws. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Who Are We?

The Courts Authority consists of about 400 knowledgeable and engaged employees who together drive development and provide ongoing support and service to Sweden's approximately 80 courts. Through our work, we support the democratic foundation, and what we do is important – for your and everyone’s legal security!

We currently have three HR specialists working on these issues. One is leaving, and that’s where you come in!

The HR department conducts a lot of development work where we work strategically to meet future needs. We hope you want to be part of developing our important work with salary formation in a changing world.
